Ogni lavoro mostra un episodio di Ovid's Metamorfosi , diviso in tre scene . al centro di the birth of adonis c'è un gruppo di persone che stanno liberando il bambino adonis dai rami dell'albero in cui sua madre è stata trasformata . Il motivo degli innamorati a sinistra è un riferimento alla sua concezione , e a destra la figura di venere , che si innamorerà di lui , si riferisce al suo futuro . l'attribuzione di queste due opere a tiziano è contestata .
